Susan Hardiman started her hand-made jewelry company, Adornamenti, while transitioning from a long and successful career in professional Interior Design. She became disenchanted after twenty years of the business world and decided to engage in a more enriching career as a jewelry artist.
She discovered jewelry making over twenty years ago, as a creative outlet that allowed her more design autonomy and instant design gratification. Many years of design evolution later, her jewelry has become a collectible commodity among several clients throughout New England and across the U.S.A. Her pieces can be found at boutiques and trunk shows throughout New England as well as at her own Signature Studio, ADORNAMENTI, in the Savin Hill area of Boston, Massachusetts. Contact us
Inspired by all things European from an early age, Susan interprets her love of classical design and European chic in gemstones, pearls, Venetian glass and precious metals. The result is an astonishing collection of limited edition and one-of-a-kind wearable art pieces that are considered “modern classics” among her clientele.
The timeless quality and appeal of Adornamenti designs make the wearer feel as beautiful and inspired as the pieces themselves.
In addition to evolving her sense of design, Susan continually takes lessons to keep her skills fresh and her collections inspired. The collections are skillfully crafted to ensure heirloom quality. The finest, “conflict-free” gemstones, pearls and precious metals are used in her collections.
Susan’s experience as a professional Designer, have refined her ability to assist her clients in expressing their own signature style. She is able to draw upon that wealth of experience, when consulting with clients, in her studio to create custom designs for weddings, special occasions, and for wardrobe enhancement. CompanyAdornamenti is a Boston-based Studio founded in 2003 that designs and produces signature, hand-crafted, artisan gemstone, pearl, and precious metal jewelry. The company is dedicated in loving memory of her parents, Daniella and Joseph and her Italian Grandmother, Lucia.
